Garth Brooks and Taylor Swift both landed their first record deals after record company representatives saw their early performances at The Bluebird Café. The Bluebird Café’s legendary status has seen it featured in the star-studded documentary Bluebird and in a major story arc on the hit TV show Nashville. The Bluebird Café has staged an average of two shows every night since it opened in 1982. This cozy venue can fit 90 spectators with fellow musicians often forming part of each performer’s crowd. Open Mic Nights held each Monday give anyone an opportunity to add their name to The Bluebird Café’s legacy.
